Hello @Marquis Harris. You were correct with the first question, but I didn't ask it, you did ;) . That being said, if it's a company match it's FREE money! And if you're saving the max all the better. I must qualify my statement and say that I am NOT a financial advisor; I speak from experience. I made that mistake and wish I hadn't. Need I say more? Without saying more, I'll let the experts speak and advise you on what to do with it. You will find a way to make it work. Best wishes.

Hey @Nathan Gruetzmacher. I would be sure to use the calculators on this site to work your numbers. They absolutely must make sense and don't be afraid to walk-away. I venture to say that the 1st deal will always be the most difficult. You are doing right by using the forums to get help. If you have a reliable contractor/handyman to preview the property, that might help to get feedback. An extra pair of discerning eyes always helps. Best wishes.

Hey @Samantha Klein typically what goes around comes around. Practice kindness when it calls for it and it returns to you 10-fold . There will be plenty of times to charge for things. Best wishes.

Hello @Angela Kriv. Loyalty is a word that is rarely being used today. More people should use it. You ask a very good question.

As a Broker I would ask you this: how would you feel if you invested time and resources with someone with the intent of getting something back and they jumped ship on you? It happens all the time in this industry which is why some Brokers don't work with investors.

If you are happy with the original person you work with, stick with them. If you are not happy with them let them know your expectations and go from there. It's all about relationships.

Zillow and others like them have successfully found a way to inject themselves into a process that IMHO should go to the brokers directly. They perform a service and get paid very well for doing it. You will need to work with a Broker to verify their information. There is a lot more that can be said that the space here does not allow for.

We still work with clients that we've had since we got started in 1990. Just this week even. Loyal clients. I know you will make the right decision.

Best wishes.
