Recieved a notice of Chapter 7  Bankruptcy from  Real Property Management, Wichita's owner today. I navigated thru the Kansas court systems website and filed my claim as a creditor along with attaching my supporting docs. I checked out his list of creditors and it is long. Hope there is some left for me when its all done. The deadline for submission is July so I'm not counting on getting any money soon. As far as getting any money I'm not holding my breath either, but I'm going trying.

Thanks that's really good information. This is not a business marina. It is a common boat house shared by the slip renters plus another house with renters. The owner is putting some information together for me. I'll keep you posted

I am about to put an offer in on a small marina with a common house and a few slips. It's on the the eastern shore of Lake Michigan in the state of Michigan . The house is shared by the slip renters and gives them A kitchen bathroom and spot to entertain guests . The whole place to include the slips needs to be redone but has sold out its slips because they are below Market value. Anyone have any experience putting a deal/offer like this together?

I went with premiere property management. so far so good. Good communication with my POC there Jason Gilstrap. Who do you use?
