That depends on how you want to learn.   There is some great videos on introduction to notes you can being to learn with or you can attend a class.  Look around there are note groups as well. You could be close to NAP.

Best of luck. We enjoy the NPN space for the past few years. There is always an influx of Performers as we modify loans and want to cash out!

I am also in the northern Ocean/ monmouth county myself.   Most meetups I have been to were not worth my time. Either no experience or not set up for networking.

I am looking for wholesalers that target monmouth and ocean county for distressed properties  (rehabs, estate, shortsale, etc) for deals they come across.

I am also looking for recommendations for GC and property management.   I have a private investor asking from assistance to purchase multiple properties this year.  I am a distressed note investor that typically buys nation wide so buying strictly nj is not my strong suit.   If anyone can assist please let me know.

She is looking to rehab and either flip or rent.  Her and her husband are physicians and just have too much money and not enough time.

Thanks.

@Kyle Pelech Great to hear your interest.  I started in notes with only 5k a few years back and have turned that into a lot more!  Feel free to ask any questions regarding notes.  If you were like me splitting time between work and investing can be difficult, with notes you can do in your spare time.

@Shawn Mcenteer Sometimes 20 year olds do not have 10% of 200k-250k nor the credit to be able to step into a bank for that kind of cash. There are multiple ways to get into Real estate, and I hate to see a younger investor get into real estate because he only thinks there is one way.  Notes is a cheaper way to get a position on a property if done correctly.

@Kyle Pelech I would highly recommend look at purchasing Notes then.  Much cheaper to getting into real estate without having to come up with a down payment.

@mark

@Mark Scarola due to you scheduling a lack of time to network and not interested in tax liens I will not be attending.  It is nice to find out what everyone else does but then if we are limited to timed conversation the introduction is mute.  Hopefully you will allow more networking next time.

If anyone finds interest in my PowerPoint in Distressed Notes feel free to let me message.
