@Allie Pfannenstiel

Thanks Allie,

The news about finding MF deals in Phoenix, AZ sounds hopeful! I'll be searching too and I'm so ready to find my 1st deal to House Hack. Know 2021 is going to be a good year.

@Austin Eberle

Greetings Austin,

I've seen a number of bandit signs hanging around on light posts and corners in the Phoenix Metro area. Especially near the PHX Sky harbor airport. Perhaps giving these guys a call can help you network with locals? Best of luck!

@Chris Corvil

Great question I've pondered too. Think it would open you up to more opportunities, especially if you like Real Estate. And continuing to learn/grow and develop is great too! I'd like to consider this after closing on 1st deal and working with some agents.

@George Torres

Can you not turn your home into a cashflowing asset by house hacking? I've done Airbnb with my rental before COVID-19. Perhaps add an ADU? Think it's just me, but I'm fascinated by affordable tiny houses and shipping container homes. Best of luck on your search

Thanks All. Good info. I've been subscribed to AZREIA magazine and attended two online classes. Looking forward to some in person meetings if/when possible after Covid-19.

@Serge Pedroza

Greetings Serge,

Are you based in PHX planning on an owner occupied loan or out of state? Guessing in state to HH. Think you'll find what you're looking for here in BP. Cheers.

Greetings All,

As an introverted Engineer, I've set some stretch goals in 2021. One of my goals in 2021 is to join and network at a local professional REI organization near the Phoenix, AZ area. Hoping to help add value and learn how to close my 1st rental REI to House Hack.

Would you please advise of any Professional (REI) Organizations to consider in AZ?

Thanks,

-DAG

Congrats Again Jarvis,

I've been researching to do the same and pull the trigger by Fall 2021. Was informed that a majority of small MF are concentrated in Phoenix, Mesa, Tempe, and Glendale. Though deals could be hard to find and an alternative could be HH a SF with an ADU or "Casita". Still shooting for more doors with more cashflow potential. ~Cheers.

@Gregory Greene

Greetings Greg,

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I've been on the search for affordable Multi Multifamily to House Hack too in Phoenix, AZ metro area. Moving from SoCal to Phoenix, AZ in 2019 provides perspective on affordability (it's all relative).

Think you'll like Chandler. Tempe is a college town (home of ASU) and Scottsdale I view as the Beverly Hills, CA of AZ. I personally like Arcadia which is in between Scottsdale and Phoenix. Happy searching!

I would like to know the answer of any updates on this as well. Also, what if the property owner lived in the ADU and rented out the House instead?
