I guess it could take as long as you want!  Took me two weeks to take my classes and then scheduled the test.  So, for me it wasn't long at all.

Of course it is.  It's usually what I recommend to people who are wanting to get into the RE business.  Just be sure you're a licensed assistant so you can do everything.

Hey Yusef,

There's a lot of posts about joining brokerages and what questions to ask.  Be sure to use the search bar at the top right of the page.  Hope it helps!

No it's not.  Most agents don't do any business, even if they say they're 'full-time.'

So, you shouldn't have any problems at all.  Good luck!

Congratulations!!

The best education you'll get is working for a top producing agent as a licensed assistant.

Hey Brian,

Use the search bar at the top.  This question has been asked many times, and there are a lot of great answers.

Can never go wrong with your name unless, of course, someone else already has it.

Plus, if you ever decide to go a different route you'll still have your name to work off of which you could just redirect anywhere you want.

If you're struggling to get leads then here's a great tip...

Go to the top agents in your office and ask them if they could refer you to any business!  Maybe they have cheap buyer/seller leads they don't want to work with, or even rentals (hey, it's better to have $100 in your pocket than lint).

Also, I noticed you didn't mention open houses.  Look up all the listings in your office, pick houses you'd like to hold open, and then reach out to the agents!

How much does all of this cost?  Nothing-Nadda-Zip
