Real Estate Investing in Canada by Don Campbell

Investing in Rent-To-Own Property by Mark Loeffler

Allen:

I'm  personally not a fan of Mr. Campbell's style and have never been able to finish one of his books.  That said there are plenty who like them and buy into his RIEN empir.. network.  I actually found Douglas Gray's books more useful when I was first starting out.

I think some of Mr. Loeffler's material is soon to be obsolete in the eyes of the CRA ... but perhaps he'll put out a revised edition when that day arrives.

Another good primer to have is Steve Cohen and George Dubé's "Legal, Tax and Accounting Strategies for the Canadian Real Estate Investor"

The there is the very thorough, large (amazingly expensive) and rather useful (despite it's Upper Canada bias) text by Pierre Boiron and @Claude Boiron "Commercial Real Estate Investing in Canada"
