@Kenny Ramsey congrats for the position you are in. 1st , I would never broadcast your $ position. Too many opportunist will attempt to separate you from it. 2nd. , go slow. It takes a long time to achieve what you have but can be lost very fast. 3. Network. Go to as many network meetings around Charlotte and learn about the many opportunities that others are involved in. You may want to fund, partner or go it alone but there are tons of opportunities. Reach out if you have any questions

Read and continue to read, listen to podcast , go to network meetings around town. Go to Meetup.com and search “real estate investing”, take your pick of groups . Do not pay for training , there are no short cuts

Good to think ahead. You are smart to consider heading south from the city. More house for less money Starmount  and Montclair are great border communities and may offer you the opportunity to do what you indicated

Welcome to BP @David Gamble as you have learned there is very little small multi in Charlotte. House hacking is a good economic idea. You can get leases and docs on BP but consider obtaining from a NC written attorney since every states statutes are unique.

Best , Don
