@Rashad Tahir

Welcome to the BiggerPockets community! No matter where you stand in your real estate investing journey, BiggerPockets is the ultimate resource for all of your investing needs. I’d suggest starting out by networking with as many other investors as possible and be an active participant in the forums.

If you haven’t already subscribed to the BiggerPockets podcasts, do that ASAP. Look for meet ups in your area (virtual), attend free webinars, start reading as much as possible on any and all topics related to investing and real estate. Use the forums to help you search for the answers to all of your questions. If you can’t find your answers, then create your own post!

If you'd like to connect and talk about different strategies, feel free to reach out.

Good luck!

@Darrell May

Welcome to the community! The best way to learn about other markets is to network with people in those markets and keep doing what your currently doing (BiggerPockets posts). If you'd like to chat about investing in the beautiful state of Colorado let me know and I'd be happy to chat!

@Tyler Followell

Welcome to BiggerPockets! It sounds like you already have a solid trajectory going forward. What has you most interested in turn-key multifamily as your first investment? What markets have you started to scope out and what is your long term goal?

There are a lot of pros and cons when it comes to turnkey properties. When it comes to scaling, if you are buying a duplex in a great location with minor improvements needed, there is very little room for any value add. You may want to start by choosing a market to start analyzing and just practice running some numbers. It can also be helpful to keep an open mind as you are starting out. Look into different strategies that may allow you to get in the door with decent returns for example house hacking using the rent by the room strategy.

If you'd like to chat in more detail I'd be happy to help out.

Good luck!

@Christopher Lamp

Welcome to the BP community! It would be great to connect and to learn more about your plan. It sounds like you have some creative ideas and a solid start to your plan. Have you narrowed down specific regions/areas that you'd be interested in purchasing land?

Reach out with any questions you come up with and I'd be happy to help anyway I can.

@Isaac Wall

If you can't find one close to you then I'd recommend stepping up and starting your own. I started a monthly local meetup in Longmont, CO where I live two months ago and have already met some really great people!

Let me know if you'd like some advice on looking for meetups/starting your own.

@Jeffrey Xenakis

Welcome to the forums! I think if you provide a bit more context here, more people will be able to jump in. I'm curious what your motivation is behind partnering up when you are able to pull $80k out of your home? Do you have a specific reason for wanting to start an LLC right away?

@Dedawnte Vassor

Welcome to the community! Check out the networking tab up on top of the site. I'd recommend finding a local agent that is also an investor. You should also look into joining FB groups and check out the Meetup website in your area for local events.

Let me know if I can help with any questions that you have in the future.
