@Edward A. Yep, that's a trade off for sure. Celsius is about to start offering something similar to FDIC insurance very soon. Look forward to seeing the details. As far as risk vs reward, I can make the argument that it's "riskier" to keep your money in a bank (FDIC insured) while it's getting devalued at record levels each year. Defi and Cefi is about to swallow the traditional banking system whole and very few people see it coming yet.

@Paul Henning stablecoins in USDC. Been doing it for years and getting consistent liquid 8% returns and it’s pegged to the USD. Tons of YouTube videos on it.

@John Underwood properties we are looking at are mostly wood or vinyl. Someone had mentioned to me that I needed to be prepared to repaint every 4 or 5 years and I felt like that was a little much. I wanted to confirm so that I wasn’t surprised of the amount of exterior maintenance that I had coming my way.

For beach properties that are within a few blocks of the beach, how often are you having to repaint the exterior of your house? I’m trying to have some idea to calculate for reserve capex needs. Thanks for any feedback.
