@Darrell Lee thank you for your advice. I think it may be in my best interest to begin that way. I'm currently interested in a quadplex for buy and hold. I'm hoping to acquire the property via a 203K loan. You seem pretty established, but if you're willing to work with me or know anyone liking to develop a relationship with a new investor I'd like to connect with you. Thanks again for the valuable info!

Would it be feasible to look for an agent who is less experienced in working with investors?  I ask because one agent told me that he already has solid relationships with a few investors who he would feed deals to before me, meaning anything that reaches me wouldn't be a deal. Does it make more sense to ally with someone who isn't already linked to other investors and gain experience together?

@Bill Devola , thank you for the response. Great info!  I have called a few agents and for the most part have gotten the brush off when I tell them that I am a new investor. I won't let that deter me. I'll keep pounding the phones!

Hello BP family,

I have been educating myself for a few months now and feel like I'm ready to begin structuring my first deal. I'm interested I'm a small multifamily which I plan to house hack via a 203K loan. What would be the best way to go about finding an agent who is investor friendly our experiences with 203K loans? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi,

Newbie here with a newbie question. Does the wholesaler usually get the property inspected before contacting buyers?  If so what's the average cost of inspection?
