Look no further than @Michael Plaks and his team. They are in Houston.

@Jason Sinclair

You'll likely have some tax complications and potentially some asset protection issues as well.

@Bryant Blackwelder

You can always reach out to the CPA's that are active here on BP. You can usually find out about availability and pricing by viewing their websites.

Some cost seg firms offer a complimentary feasibility analysis.

You might want to contact @Yonah Weiss.

@Bo Buser

I imagine most of the CPA's on BP are close to (or at) capacity for the tax season. You may want to file an extension and give yourself some breathing room. In the meantime, reach out to some of the active CPA's here and see who is taking on new clients.

Cost seg has some unique nuances. It would be good to speak that out with a few CPA's and see who you connect with.

Most of the CPA's on BP are focused on 2021 tax compliance, but reach out to some and see who can be available for tax planning as well. Most of us work in all states.

You might want to take this slow. Keep it simple until it makes sense to build out more complexity.

Its always better to date before you get married.

What does your real estate portfolio look like? What was your initial reaction to the plan presented to you?

@Ben Nitka

I’m biased, but I would agree with the other posters. The other thing to keep in mind is that if you continues to scale in real estate, you’ll inevitably want to bring a CPA on to your team at some point, so it would be beneficial to get that relationship started earlier.

Try the network button at the top of the page. Or you can search around the forums to see which of the BP CPA's are still taking on new clients.

But be aware that most are preoccupied with 2021 tax returns for now. You might have to wait until after tax season for more time devoted to 2022 strategies.
