Now is a great time to reach out to any of the providers on the forums. We are past the 15th deadline and many of us close to recovery/finishing vacation after a stressful tax season.

If you are looking for a real estate specialized CPA. you might want to file an extension and give yourself more time to find a pro, as most specialists are likely at capacity for the April filing deadline. You can find a good pro here on BP. Check the network tab.

I wouldn't be too concerned with the out of state relationship. All consultations and tax prep can be done virtually. Just make sure you have a real estate specialist.

Referrals are the best. You can also check here on BP to see which CPA's are active and taking on new clients.

Its very late at this point, so you might want to file an extension and find a competent pro after tax season when there is more time.

Plenty of great options here on the BP forum. Check the Network tab above and filter by specialty

You don't need multiple accounts, but you'll likely want the Plus version which allows for class tracking according to property.
