@Charlie

This post must have slipped under the radar somehow I’m shocked that there aren’t dozens of responses! Feel free to message me and I’ll listen to your investing journey anytime. That’s awesome that you have 7 units I’m working on staying focused to pay off my small 2k credit card and then buy a duplex soon!

@Blake Jennings

Tell others in a nutshell what what your goals are and don’t be afraid to tell others what you plan on doing because you may be surprised at work or at random places when you meet someone who invests too! I tell everyone I plan on purchasing my first duplex soon and they help me with ideas sometimes I wouldn’t have thought of myself. A lot of time people pick on me or give me a hard time but those are typically people who are either jealous or just judge mental for no good reason so I don’t care what they think. Or purchase they think I’m not capable or not serious both of which are false.

Ps. start with uploading a professional looking photo of you smiling and get out there! You’re already doing great by asking questions on here!

Best of luck! I’m still learning how to network I don’t know any tangible ways to actually meet other investors yet ide love to make friends with like minded people.

@Cassidy Burns

I like posts like this it’s great to hear everyone’s goals. I’m super excited, Been studying real estate on here for 2-3 years and just paid my pickup truck loan off two weeks ago. That was my big goal! Now the next step is to pay off my 2k credit card and I’ll be ready within a couple months for my girlfriend and I to go get pre approved for our first duplex here in ny! Can’t wait to begin real estate investing, fixing it up and also have space( a small garage) to work on my fun project car in!

@Chase Yokoyama

I’m partnering up with my girlfriend to purchase a duplex or 3-4 unit property. Most likely a duplex. We will be using an fha loan or something similar with a low down payment. But if the plan falls through for any reason we will not give up. We will instead purchase a single family house with value add capabilities and I will hustle to renovate it to my companies standards so in a year we can sell it or rent it out. I want to eventually get to a point as soon as I can financially where we can begin to brrr 1-4 unit properties fixing them up to rent them out and buy and hold them. The goal is to create 25,000 a year in passive income to start. Then I can go full time in my own business and the sky is the limit!

@Jonathan Hulen

Thanks! I still owe $1800 on a credit card but that’s it!

@Max T.

I would like to get a plow too so I can manage my own snow removal.

@Max T.

Yeah for sure! I need brakes and rear shocks as we speak but that’s another reason I opted to spend a bit more on a tundra. They tend to last a long time if properly maintained.

@Sarah West

Awesome answer, very informative thanks! Yeah you guys are all asking me questions I really haven’t thought of too much and making me think outside the box just in general on here I like it.

@Sarah West

Oops I meant what would you do not how do you do* haha

@Sarah West

Yeah it’s tough to not touch the extra I’m already dreaming about a new motocross bike but I’ll wait for when my asset can Pay for it for me in the future. Or at least save a little bit of cash and pay for it that way. My life is sort of on hold right now and really going all in with real estate. Out of state, oh OK and I actually read a book by David Green long distance real estate investing and it was awesome. I think that was the book that Mentioned the core four!

That’s a good question. I’m not sure how I’m going to go about timing at all and I don’t know if going month to month is even an option. But I would imagine it’s probably not good to break a lease. How do you do? Maybe try to go month to month?
