That is a nice list to find sellers but it lacks detail. For instance, how can you find tired landlords? How about out of state landlords? Building code violators. For example where can you find the people that the list mentions?

I am currently in the eviction process w two problem tenants(separate units). They are on month-to-month rental agreements. They have both gone to housing inspector and I have received some violations. I always resolve these issues right away and have kept up communication w the inspector. A few issues are taking some time to resolve and I am not sure if they will completely satisfy inspector. My question is when I go to court next week and they say they are not paying rent because of the violations, will this prevent me from evicting?

The violations do not interfere with their day to day living. Because they are month to month, does this make it easy to get them out even if there is still an unresolved violation? I could always just terminate the lease anyway right?

@angel perez
What are some ways to find homeowners to market to? I have been thinking Lately that I need to do something like this, but not sure exactly how.

I am looking for another investment property near my current one in Worcester, Massachusetts. I am not finding any deals at all. I had a narrowed down list of about 10 and when I called the listing agents, they were all under contract. That wipes out my whole list of potential properties!

I am looking for 3-family buildings. I search on zillow, redfin, realtor, etc...

Any way to get a jump on other buyers? Ways to find deals?

Even the ones that sell, they aren't really selling for very attractive prices.. I saved up a down payment for a year or two and now I don't see anywhere worth investing it. Frustrating.

Any ideas?

Yea I read that he invested in Arizona also and had a business partner in a lot of deals but that is about the extent of what I found.

Does anyone have information or a link to information about Jerry Buss's real estate career. I have searched the internet and every story I read mentions his first $,000 purchase and then jumps to his purchasing the Lakers for $65 million.

Would love to know some more information on how he became so succesful.

I believe my lease states that hallways must be kept clear.

I am not sure what I can do if they still leave items in the hallways short of terminating the lease.
