@Tchaka Owen

Here's a website mentioning you can obtain access to the MLS without a license (Working With a Real Estate Agent).

https://www.fortunebuilders.com/real-estate-license/

There are plenty of other websites that mention the same thing, this is just one example.

Anybody have tips on obtaining access to the Northwest Indiana (Lake County Indiana) MLS without a Real Estate License just for Comparables?

I have worked with quite a few Realtors and all don't want to help an investor gain access to the NW Indiana MLS as an assistant just for Comparables. I have provided business to a realtor agent (selling homes for commissions) and mentioned I would continue to provide future business but still haven't found a realtor agent willing to give me access. I figured providing business would be enough and I have also mentioned I would run comps for the realtor agent if requested.

I'm thinking about obtaining my Real Estate License just for Comparables since I'm not having any luck as an unlicensed assistant.

Any tips or tricks would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

@Justin Scott

Unfortunately, I had the exact same issue Justin. Owner is extremely informative on Real Estate and runs a great company, but recently there's issues with mailing mail in a respectable amount of time. I'm sure eventually they will get that squared away. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

@Lisa Miller

No matter the situation, I’m always kind, nice, and respectful.

What I mean by aggressive is comments to the seller like, “Let’s do this, please sign here and here”, “You rather live rich, or die rich, please sign”, “Be grateful you have this opportunity today, please sign”, etc. etc.

How aggressive should I be when dealing with off market sellers I find that are going through the probate process?

Would a Grant Cardone style be acceptable? (Attempting to close when first meeting face to face with the owner like your life depended on it?)

I just started to learn about sales and closing. I’ve been listening to the “The Closers Survival Guide”.

I’m attempting to buy properties at deep discounts by the way.

Thanks in advance.

First class Adrien. The order was also set to rush. I’ve used openlettermarketing.com before. Price was higher though. You have any recommendations? Thanks!

I’m having issues with yellowletters.com. The job mail date for my postcards was June 20th, 2019. They provide a tracking system for the mailings now. My post cards still hasn’t been scanned by USPS post offices and it’s July 12th, 2019. It’s taking 24+ days to reach the post offices??? Something is not right.

Give Victor a call. I sent you a private message.

He does a pretty good job with my lawn.
