It definitely seems that finding quality, reliable contractors is one of the hardest steps in REI. I'm in the education and team building phase so about to jump into finding them myself. Do let me know how the rehab goes if you would :)

Christelle T. Welcome to BP! Great spot to begin networking and learning. I'm doing the same. Saberian Younger Great tips! That helped me too as I'm trying to learn the area myself being new also.

@Mark Rosgen Yeah, I can for sure see how time in the industry teaches a lot through experience.

@Mark Nolan Thanks for the tip. I'll certainly keep looking into them.

@Mark Rosgen Hey Mark! I look forward to connecting with you. How long have you been in wholesaling?

@Kevin Coggins No worries! There's always more to learn about something in life, and RE is no exception. I was just happy to see your overall feel/perception of that area so far from your experience. I haven't personally settled on an area yet, but I'll try to avoid the shotgun approach.

@Kevin Coggins Thanks for that analysis, Kevin. I'm getting started out in Houston as well so it is helpful to read your opinions about Woodlands/Spring/1960.

@Mike Reynolds Thanks for the offer! I'll definitely take you up on that when the time comes. I am capable of doing most things myself, but my goal is to delegate that whenever most reasonable.

@Mike Reynolds I'm a chemical engineer working in mechanical manufacturing. You?

@Mike Reynolds Thanks, Mike! Yes, I'm finding that out really quickly. Trying to get the basics nailed down before many more deals pass by.
