There are quite a few statistics about cheating spouses and business. If you are interested look up Dan Ariely the behavioral economics professor at Duke. He has podcasts, and books focusing on the subject of deception and its effects. In general a person who would lie to their partner or hurt their partner will do the same to anyone else.
