Thanks for the sound advice. I'm interested in both single family and multi family properties and there isn't a particular area of Kansas City that I'm focusing on. Right now my general strategy is to buy single family homes and resell them as rent to own properties with 3 to 5 year leases. The multi family deals I come across will just be rentals since they can cash flow much better. I'd love any feedback you all might have about this general approach to investing. Any advice about glaring issues or thing a I need to consider before diving in would be great. Thanks.

Hello everyone! Very excited to be part of the BiggerPockets community. My name is Clint Looper and I'm a recent law school grad who just started a new job in the Kansas City area. I just wanted to take a minute to network a little and introduce myself to the people making things happen in the Kansas City area. I'm interested in buying and holding properties for long term cash flow but I'm trying to learn as much as I can about the different ways to make money in real estate. If anyone knows of any good real estate agents, contractors or property management groups in the area they would like to recommend that would be great. I have a ton to learn and I'm starting to think it would be a good idea to work with a partner/mentor to maximize the structuring of my deals and split profits with them. Thanks and I look forward to hopefully working with some of you in the future!
