Hey Stephan,

Good plan and logistics. I would say go for it. I recommend checking close to 32nd Naval Base.  The area is close to the harbor and Downtown area. There is a lot of fixer-uppers. Be aware that the area and school districts might not be as nice as Carmel Valley or Poway. However, there is a lot of potential in this area and start-up costs and opportunities can be found.

Good luck,

Hey @Jason Dirks,

I might be interested in partnering up and collaborate with some rehab projects in the San Diego area. I will send you a PM so we can further discuss.

Cheers,

Hey Brian,

Costa Rica, it's a great place for Americans and people from around the world in general to go and vacation there.

There have been several posts in this forum regarding Costa Rica https://www.biggerpockets.com/... In my opinion, is important to make sure that the land is not a concession and that you contact an estate lawyer that helps you guys directly. It is important to find someone who is committed to helping you and speaks the language.

Secondly, you want to invest where all the influx of people usually go spend time in CR. Check Airbnb, home rentals websites and get some ideas of the good profitable areas.

Hope this helps,

Claudio Salvatorelli

Hey Baron,

I recommend using Hubspot. It's actually not specifically for RE but it is a great tool.
