Are any Hudson Valley / Upstate New York landlords receiving rent reduction requests from their tenants as a result of COVID-19? If so, how are you handling it? Some tenants are not asking for rent payment extensions, but renegotiated leases with lower rents.

Great question @Michael Magnell I'd love to hear from someone who has the answer. One potential issue I see is that you would likely need to have the state and federal approvals in place prior to closing, and I believe that can take 3-9 months. 

Hi Max, I know an excellent architect who is experienced with building beautiful, modern homes with tight budgets. Let me know if you need a recommendation.

Are there any investors in the Newburgh area that have had success with the Historical Tax Credit Program? I'd love to hear more about your experiences.

For construction loans, I recommend going with the smaller, more local banks. Salisbury Bank and Walden Savings Bank could be good options for you.

I would think that the Background / Credit Check Fee is entirely separate to the Application Fee and the prospective tenant has to pay both. Is this other people's interpretation?
