@Dan Powers Thanks for the message.  I am in Delaware county,  about 13 miles south of the city.  I have heard exactly what you are saying.   I appreciate you reaching out.  At this moment,  I am studying to get my license.  As far as investing,   I am nowhere near ready (for a few reasons) but I am looking to network, learn and maybe help someone (as a learning experience also).  In the future, I will definately be investing again, either alone, or with a partner, or both.

Hello BP network.  I am in the Philly area, and I am looking to help someone, and learn.  I have been laid off from my job since July 1 and currently working my own 1099 Life Insurance business but am working to transition into Real Estate.  I invested in Property when I was 25, back in 2007, before the crash.  I am looking to get back in to Real Estate.  I am currently taking online courses to get my license as well.  What i can contribute to someone now is my time, and my work ethic.   I have experience cold calling as well.  My goal would be to help someone, learn the business, and even look for a partner for the future for deals.  I am open to any suggestions.  Thanks 

Considering a move from Insurance. The ultimate goal in the future is to Invest in Real Estate again.

I know there is No Shortcut, but at age 37, which would be the “better” direction to go in as far as income, growth, opportunity, etc.

Can anyone provide a basic understanding of how using a Roth IRA for investing in Real Estate works? How to set up, how much needed to start one, Is there a timeframe on how long you have to wait to be able to use cash, etc.

I’ve seen quite a few people do this and was wondering if It was a good strategy to implement, especially if cash flow is a struggle in the beginning?
