I have a small HVAC company.  Ertz Mechanical.  We have done a lot of residential properties - from the 1700s to new construction as well as commercial.  I also have a few other companies I could recommend for plumbing and electrical.

Let me know if you would like references and some photos!

Out of curiosity which area is your lot in?

I am having trouble sending and responding to private messages on my cell.  I will write everyone when I am on my PC tomorrow.  I appreciate all of the advice!

I have always been passionate about real estate and architecture.  I figured it was time to do something about it!

Congratulations @Chrissy Ertz! I am strongly considering starting the online courses myself but, like you, I plan to keep my W2 and use my license to save on acquisition costs or to make some money on the side through organic referrals, friends, family, etc.  Glad to hear that there are others doing this.

My state real estate exam is next week and I fully expect to pass.  I am looking to meet with some local brokers who would be interested in a part time agent.  I do plan on keeping my job for now.  I already have a few clients and I'm ready to hit the ground running.

Hey Vaughn,
That is definantely someplace I would look for a 2nd or 3rd house.  I like a few places in the Poconos as well but that is another discussion.
This would be for my primary residence and needs to be very close to Philly.

@Chrissy Ertz you may want to take a look at Atlantic City, the state and several private entities are pumping money into the city (not just the boardwalk) to revitalize it change is happening now, it may be a great chance to get in on the ground floor
