Hello BP, I am currently in search of my first investment property in the Atlanta, Georgia area. I believe my strategy will be to house hack this property so, I am looking in the duplex to quadplex area. However, I listen to podcasts and read certain articles and I am struggling on should I go bigger or not? I would have to find  a partner if I went bigger however I think I could figure this issue out. I guess my biggest question is when is to much for a  first time investor should I go bigger when is to big? Also, what is the best advice for a new investor to expand my network or find a mentor/partner of some sort.

@Danielle Jackson I am getting my license to become a investor. I would love to invest in commercial real estate. I feel like getting my license will give me that push to get into the real estate market

Planning on getting my real estate license in Georgia. However, I don’t know whether to go commercial or residential. Can someone give me some insight on what is the best to go into right now in this market or should I even get my real estate license? Thanks for all the help!

I’ve been thinking about getting my real estate license but I continue to get cold feet. So, my question today is should I get my real estate license? Or is it a good time to get my real estate license? I would also like to join a real estate investing group once obtaining my license so I can learn the trade. Can anyone give me some insight?

Hello BiggerPockets family,

I have recently relocated to Cayce, South Carolina and I am looking to begin my real estate career. I am seeking advice on how to state my career which I have done before however I didn't choose to continue it. I now am looking to expand my network and being my portfolio here in South Carolina. So, if anybody has any advice on where to get starter or any meet ups I can attend I am highly interested in beginning to grow.

@Jaime Bisbey Thank you Jaime I appreciate your time and advice I would like to stay in contact. I think meeting new people like you can create a beneficial relationship where we can grow our network and bounce ideas off of each other even.
