Getting Real Estate License (Georgia)

I’ve been thinking about getting my real estate license but I continue to get cold feet. So, my question today is should I get my real estate license? Or is it a good time to get my real estate license? I would also like to join a real estate investing group once obtaining my license so I can learn the trade. Can anyone give me some insight?
