Hi Cody, I will be moving there after Christmas this year. I settled on Conroe, it was far enough away yet close enough.

Thanks guys! Yes it was almost a full year to the day. Then I still had to go to court with him over slander for another few months.

Luckily I haven't heard from him in a few months, and I will be relocating to Houston at the end of the year.  Hopefully it will be easier to evict there!

I own a duplex in Salem and use long and foster for maintenance.

Emmons Construction or Redesign Contractors.  I've used both. Excellent job with both.

@michael the lots are to be serviced by well and septic. There are two telephone poles on the property so the houses can be set off the road a good bit if you wanted. Also they just ran natural gas at the road about 6 months ago.

I have a 6.2 acre lot for sale in Franklinville, NJ.  My plan with this lot was to subdivide into two lots and put up two houses.  My plans have changed because I am relocating to Houston for work.

I have the engineering drawings all complete for the subdivision, they just need to be submitted to the township for approval.

I am asking $48,900 for this lot, and I will seller finance with a small down payment if need be.

Post: What about Kensington in Philadelphia?

I was born in Kensington and lived a few doors down from "Little Maries" house from Rocky.  My dad used to own a bunch of properties there.

I know the city just dumped some money into cleaning up McPherson Sq (needle park) but I haven't done any follow up to see if it went right back to the way it was or not.

The city is auctioning off 185 properties in June from what I read.  Maybe you should look into that list and see what they have to offer.

I would be interested. I always want to make it to one of the meetings they hold in cherry hill but I never seem to be available when the meetings are happening.

Post: Cabinets smell??

I have had older cabinets that smelled but were in good shape so I wasn't going to trash them.  I used drawer liners (with baking soda) until I had time to sand and paint them.

In south jersey I did two cash transactions so far.  A deposit is required when you submit your offer (if the property is listed) as well as proof of funds.  I closed within two weeks on the first one because that's how long it took for the title search and survey to be done.  The second one was done with just a lawyer (it was an estate and the lawyer had to handle multiple things for this woman).  I don't have a good timeline to give you for this because I made it clear I would purchase the house months before she finished cleaning it out and sold it to me. Therefore I do not know how much notice she gave the lawyer.
