I have good/excellent credit and just had a small collections under $100 show up on my report. The rep at the collections agency said they do not remove paid debts from the credit report, but I know this is often done. How can I get the debt removed from my credit report after I pay it? TIA!

I have a very good interest rates on my truck and home. 1.99/2.5. I have considered paying those down to "free up" cash long term, but I'm also considering the facts that my loans, especially on the truck, are  nearly FREE MONEY. The 1.99 is 7 years while the 2.5 is 30. I don't save very much on the 7 but I save a lot on the 30. What are the advantages/disadvantages of paying off these loans early? TIA!

I'm specifically looking for 4 plexs. I know each county has to have a database of units. If its not on Realtor.com or Zillow or whatever where can I find info on property NOT available? TIA!

My PR has a 2.5 APR. I would save hundreds if I can get it under 2.0. Is there any way I can avoid closing costs on a REFI? TIA!

@Annie Johnson I say it's all about the numbers. Assuming I can show it's a GOOD DEAL I shouldn't need any money down. There is also creative financing/owner financing etc. :)
