Hi I was wondering if I can take profits from a different business (has nothing to do with real estate) to go towards buying houses to help with taxes or would that not work?

Hi I'm looking for fellow investors/ mentors to help each other grow was looking for any groups to join or if any investors was planning on going to the meeting by Cleveland next Thursday if anyone on here attends that meeting, also if it matters my main focus will be single family rentals thanks

Setting up a meeting with a local investor and want to know what to expect or how to make the best of it? possible mentor or help expanding network

im still a newbie in investing I have purchased two rental properties but only have one other investor that I talk with, so my question is how have some of the other investors developed your networks and at the same time managed to keep the bad out? Thanks

Not sure if this is the right group to post this in but I'm interested in meeting more people in real estate to talk with a long the line of mentors, so planning on joining my local real estate group but I also see on other sites or driving around houses for rent and was thinking about calling to talk with the landlords and other investors, only problem I have no idea how to go about the conversation, so looking for pointers on how to not come across wrong in any way? How did you increase your networks or find mentors? Thanks in advance

What other information would you need? This is the first I've looked at that are already rented past houses that I bought needed complete rehab but looked at these since they are close and location

Went and looked at two rental properties one was a single family house currently rented at $700 a month same tenant for over 2 years house ( is valued at $70k on auditor site) the other is a six unit all units rented out total is $2900 tenants vary from 3 months up to over 4 years both in the same neighborhood which is a good upcoming area.

Single family house is pretty up to date multi unit house has good furnace new water tanks and coin operated washer/dryer but building needs updated windows doors exterior painting

If wondering currently asking $200,000 for everything but would consider splitting I was more interested in the single family but looked at all of it thanks for the help

Have a landlord selling their properties that are currently rented out I set up a time to go view the properties tomorrow, my question is what are some things you focus on while viewing them? If possible do you ask the tenants anything?

Thanks for the fast response
