@Bryan Egner, ty for the updates. I am considering a HELOC but I've heard PenFed limits you to only owning a few investment properties to do an investment property HELOC with them

I’ve thought about a few options...K1 with Partnership, 1099misc and evening 1098 Mort interest (because investor would essentially write a check and await for a return).

What tax form should I issue an investor if they provide the cash for the deal and earn a portion of the profits?

This could be a 1 and done or could be a long term structure...how would you structure the partnership or JV and why?

2nd position. Can you be put into 2nd position with a Note & JV agreement with someone who isn't the title holder of the property?

I have a 2nd position note/lien...how do I ensure it is recorded in 2nd position? what happens if sale can only cover 1st position or some of 2nd position?

question about 2nd position notes or liens...what if you have a note in 2nd position but need to ensure it's recorded as such...what do you do/who do you go to?
