I’m looking for a real estate agent in KC who is experienced and has worked with investors. Does anyone have someone they would highly recommend??

@Ran L. It happens. Wholesalers and flippers do that and more every day. @Jonathan Hulen - don’t be discouraged by that. It’s hard work to find good deals. But they are out there.

I have a motivated seller that doesn't know who's living at her rental....  She's elderly, but said there's no lease, and hasn't seen or been to the property in years, I don't think she's even seeing rent checks. Her son seemed to confirm this (who seems to have no interest in helping her), and she's in danger of losing her home to tax foreclosure by the fall if she doesn't pay in full. She owns the home free and clear. She wants to sell, but is in an assisted living home, so she's not going to meet me at the property. Advice for how to proceed? I'm assuming to only move forward with an attorney.... any recommendations for how to go about getting the home under contract, and removing "tenants?" Can't imagine they'll be friendly to leaving if they are living there for free! Let alone a host of other issues this might bring on..... 😳

Hey friends, 

My husband and I are headed to KC, MO next week, and we are trying to book up our days there as full as we can making connections, meeting with investors, some turnkey operations, etc. We have two rentals we purchased out there in the spring of 2016.

Ultimately, we would love to be able to purchase off market from a wholesaler, or market ourselves to find properties, and then be able to have someone we partner with to fix up homes to get them rent-ready, BRRRR etc.

Do you have any recommendations for people we should meet with, wholesalers who are moving and shaking, any property management companies that could assist us if we find a home that needs some work, OR some contractors who are reliable... what am I missing? ;o) Any awesome agents who could be boots on the ground for us, for any listings that come up.. Okay, what else? :o)

Hi my Kansas City, MO friends, 

I'm in WA ST and have a couple rentals there in KC, MO. We are connected with some wholesalers there and a deal just came through on a little house in Independence, zip code 64050, on Cottage street between Truman and W 23rd. This little house has been mostly updated in the last few years.

What's the neighborhood like? Would you invest there? 

I'm not familiar with that area- but we are looking to pick up a more rentals in the KC area. I've done my research online... but would love your honest opinion off the top of that area/neighborhood.

Thanks @Jeff Filali, I appreciate the feedback..! We haven't structured this in a wholesale deal before, so wasn't sure if there were any hang ups to be aware of in particular. 

It was great looking through your website as well, as we are researching subject to/lease options as another tool in our belt for motivated sellers. Looks like business is going well for you, keep it up!

Has anyone wholesaled a deal where the seller wants to do owner-financing... and then one of your buyers picks it up w/ those terms? My husband met w/ a potential seller who's house is paid for free and clear. He would prefer to work without a realtor... but didn't seem too excited about a cash offer because of taxes and mentioned the possibility of seller financing as an option he would also consider. One of our cash buyers is maxed out at 10 loans and would potentially be interested in picking up this property as a rental with the financing already in place. Is there a way to structure this deal?
