I have a friend that does storage unit deals all over the country. Nothing in ATL that I know of, but would they consider other parts of the country?

Hello everyone, I currently invest in Greenville, SC but am looking to expand into Spartanburg. What are the best areas/zip codes to invest right now? I would like to stay in either nicer areas close to the city or good school systems if possible. If you're an agent in Spartanburg, would you mind if I gave you a call sometime? We like to buy/hold and flip. Thanks!

@Tyler Druhot We have relocated washer/dryers several times on our flips. Mostly from the basement to the upstairs on 60's and 70's ranches. Plumbers and electricians can do this work. I'm assuming you're putting the washer in there as well? How old is the house? And I always ask the question, why did the builder do this in the first place? Is there a reason? We've had luck moving washer/dryer setup to larger than what is needed closet space in a center hall, or re-working the floorplan a bit. Best of luck!

Are you using a private lender or your own cash? If it's a private lender you absolutely should protect that lender with lenders' title insurance. We had a claim on a property that had over $30,000 worth of attorney's fees. We ALWAYS get title insurance. Because there will be a problem someday, it's just a matter of when. In my opinion, you risk all of your money, time, and investment in the deal to save a couple hundred bucks?  Just...not...worth it.
