Udemy offers an online course on "How to Analyze Real Estate Investments". For $10.99, it fares much better than those $5000 real estate guru training programs. My question is this: has anyone here ever used Udemy or their real estate program? If so, what are your takeaways? Even if you have no experience with the program I would love to get your opinion.

I got hooked on real estate investing from YouTube videos. I'll never forget the day I laid my eyes on Brandon and his magnificent beard.

For some reason, every time I tried to view this post the Bigger Pockets App crashes. I had to go on my laptop just to view it. Weird.

This Fall/Spring I am attending Auburn University. Originally from Peachtree City, I've been interested in learning about the Atlanta market. On the BP Podcast it is repeatedly said that to find a mentor you must be willing to give something back in return. I understand that most veteran investors have an abundance of experience and money, but not time. This is what I am willing to offer; more time. The most mundane activities have an opportunity cost. Wouldn't you rather be closing deals or getting your own coffee at Starbucks? Wouldn't you rather pass off the insignificant activities of your work day to someone else? I can be an Intern that helps you achieve more during your work day. All I want is to learn from somebody who is already in the game. Wholesaling, residential, ,flipping, commercial, whatever your niche, I would love to learn. Due to college, I won't start until May, but that provides plenty of time to work out the specifics of the role I would play. Thank you.

Just from looking at those photos I can imagine that the smell is breathtaking

I've heard the the term " getting pre-approved for a loan" which, from my understanding isn't the same as "loan pre-qualification". Although they sound very similar, could someone briefly explain how these are different?

I'm reading Buying and Managing residential real estate by Andrew J McLean and almost right off the bat he says the first step for newbies is to build credit. I would love any type of advice, just so I don't end up signing up for something that I regret.

If I wanted to get in on a deal I found, but am unable to get a bank to finance my deal, due to lack of credit. Is it possible for me to get a different investor (who banks would gladly give a loan to) get him/her to get the loan and just turn around and give it to me? I would then pay the other investor's loan payments with my cash flow as well as pay them more for taking on the risk. Would banks be ok with me working around them like this? Is this legal? Is this a stupid question? That's all I want to know.
