How do I understand the math in real estate I watch a lot of YouTube some of the these YouTube real estate investor stay the math is pretty easy, to me it don't look easy although I'm not a math person.

I am thinking about doing real estate because I have no job since 2013 after graduating high school. So how do I go about it as a new potential beginner that might get into real estate and the market I'm thinking of investing in is New York more precisely Yonkers, White Plains, New Rochelle and the Bronx Thanks for any information.
