@Kwun Ho most have free trials or a free tier, I suggest you try a few out and see how you like them. QuickBooks can be hard to get going at first.

@Marcel K. I didn’t care for quickbooks when I tried it. I know it’s powerful software. I use my own software but I haven’t thought of Agents needing to track expenses, that’s very interesting! There are probably a lot of parallels to what a landlord needs to track.

@Jonathan Trimboli I waited to Macs 3 years ago when I joined a company that used them. I didn’t care for them at first because of the different keys and I felt the operating system was limiting. But over time I realized it does everything that I need to do to get my work done and they work really well.

I wouldn’t buy a windows laptop with the computer specs my Mac has because I know it would have a hard time keeping up. I can not stand lagging on a computer, it makes me rage.

If you have other apple products like an iPhone, iPad, and/or watch there are benefits to using a Mac for how they are able to internet with each other.

Hey Sarath, I'm a software engineer also that moved from Colorado. I sold my house in Colorado a few years ago and used the appreciation to by an apartment building in another state. It wasn't done appreciating, but it was a good move for me. So I'd have to agree with @Thomas Cummings

@Willy Lew I like your humor! I’m a software engineer also, and my son says “sock” with a “c” instead of an “s” 😂.

Sounds like you’re on the right track, I wish you good luck!

@Zoe Lee I don’t use a PM but that would have me pretty upset. I wouldn’t worry about inconveniencing the late paying tenants and look for a PM that will handle the late payment issue and not sit back and benefit from it at your expense!
