I think most of us are kicking ourselves for not getting involved in real estate earlier.  You came to the right place though.  Great place to learn.  Good luck to you in whatever you do!

Exactly what I did a year ago.  Wish I got a double deposit but one was good enough for me.

$4200 ain't bad.  Hopefully you got a good deposit to cover a good portion of that.

I think I know which one you are talking about.  You can still get lots of great info from different clubs and just ignore the sales pitches.  If you have any questions just send me a message.

Just send me an email if you want to Jeff.

the 69 on the East and south:  Depends on the part really.  There is no south though as it turn into a different highway.

Sam Houston Parkway on the West:  Great area mostly in my opinion.  There are some bad parts though.

The 10 on the North:  Not sure what part you mean.

Just FYI, I jog 2-3 times a week when it's 100 degrees and 95% humidity outside with no problem.

I hope your niche market opportunity in Texas is very successful. Innovation and adaptation are typically keys to success in any industry including real estate.

Exactly. Sounds like some just made some bad choices.

Welcome to BP. This is a great place to learn. If you do one house a year that will feel great in 10 years. Good luck to you.
