@Account Closed .. I bought a property too in Moscow when Ruble fell ... well my wife did .... Go for Grad school if you really like it otherwise try to find a real estate related job or something ...

Alternatively .. you could take a loan for grad school while investing your money in real estate .. Get the rent checks to pay for your school ...

Thanks for the reply @Jonathan J. Miller ... I don't want to go HM route and haven't found a PM who doesnt have rates like HM. I might end up doing this individually with conventional financing

Anyone know of any banks/lenders/mortgage broker who would do a package financing deal of sub $50k SFR (4-5 properties) in MO for buy and hold? Looking to put down 20-25% for total purchase price of $200k. Please let me know. No HML or HML lookalike please

Thanks

Want to bid on Auction.com and not really sure what this means. I am guessing the deed of trust is what I will get and it will be free and clear to me (after I pay the 3 judgments against the property ~$1500 not shown here). Am I right? I got confused the vested owner being Midfirst Bank and I dont see that name anywhere else. Appreciate the help

Hello Everyone,

I joined a few days back and got busy with reading the forums that I forgot to introduce myself. I am still new to the REI even though I have a rental in my SDIRA. I am looking to learn more from the community and help in any way I can. My objective is to have a few buy and hold properties in my portfolio.

My goal this year is to add atleast 3 more properties in my portfolio. I am also learning/investigating about international property investment. If anyone has any properties in Thailand/Spain and wouldn't mind sharing their experience, I will be happy to connect.

Don't know if this counts in RE investing but 2 years back I bought land in Nor Cal (think Cal/OR border) for a business plan I had in mind on Ebay (yes I did that). Recently sold the land for 500% profit.

Apologies for bumping an old thread. Recently joined BP and trying to learn as much as possible. This might be a very simple question to most of you so please bear with me. I am trying to get EIN and followed Steven's steps to select trust and then I am getting stuck. What do I select after Trust. The website gives me a bunch of options. Should I select "Trust (All others)"? Any help would be appreciated.
