@Dareen Allie wow, what they are thinking of next. But I am just curious, Zillow's MLS listings are being pushed by MLS directly. Therefore, there is an agent attached to the listing automatically which has state license and MLS number. When you said, you called the owner directly, how did you find the owner's number? Was this a MLS listing or FSBO? Another testimony to do the Due diligent and never ever send money to anyone. Good for you for not falling for the scam.

@Doug McVinua Doug, Although Phoenix still has lots of potential, however the density of investors concentration and traffic have made it a bit difficult to land a good deal. Many investors direct their attention to South Arizona, specially Pima county/Tucson. I would highly recommend doing some research on this area and see of it delivers what you want.

@Jacob Urling  Jacob, Tucson's Market is booming and hard to find quality contracters. Luckily I have one that I would be happy to share. Send me a PM if still in need.

@Kevin Lee, kevin truthfully staying active in BiggerPockets will generate first hand wholesalers. But recently clubhouse meeting will funnel tremendous amount of information and networking if you find the right room(s). At the end of the day, it is all about networking. I see all meetup groups are coming back in person which is a great news. Wish you best.

@Ida Powers Ida, I am assuming this is going to be a owner occupied, since you mentioned house hacking. Unless there are particular circumstances that do not allow you to qualify for FHA, then conventional loan requires higher down. This could easily be verified by googling "2 to 4 Unit FHA Multi-Unit Requirements | FHA 2 – 4 Unit Guidelines". Needless to say that there are many qualified lenders that can easily verify this for you. Wish you the best in moving to Tucson.

@Ren Navarro Ren, I would not underestimate Tucson, AZ, Fast Growing and still opportunities. All depends what type of property you are looking for and your budget. Turnkey or value add. Focus on a area and connect with right people to help you out. All the best.
