@Shital Thakkar i currently live in the spring and The woodlands area and currently my main market. The oil businesses have moved up here (exxon) and with the expansion of a new medical center (MD Andersen, TCH) so i would believe the housing market would be up for a small boom to my outlook

So im a brand new REI and right now im just absorbing all the info i can on being a great respectable REI, and to be as pro ready as i can when i pull the trigger for the first deal.really mainly looking into flipping and renting/landlording right now, and venture into the other methods later. But my idea to start off is to get a mortgage on a foreclosure and rehab it while live in it (since im currently renting and the mortgage would be cheaper which means more cashflow for the rehab) and then when the time comes make a decision to flip it or rent it out.

So any pros/bros out there able to give a newbie some feedback/advice on my first planned investment.

preciate it,

Anthony

thanks ramar, lets connect

Thanks Ethan Johnson, were both glad to be here

Whats up Bp peeps,

My name is Anthony Geren and the lovely lady in the picture next to me is Alyssa Widener my longtime GF. I ( Anthony) was born in Oak Harbor,WA (outside Seattle,WA on Whidbey Island) and have been living in Houston/Spring,TX for about a decade now. Alyssa and I are at the very beginning of our young careers ( I'm 24, she's 23) and are taking our first steps in the big boy and girls world. We are at the point where we both got our careers and are making the long climb up the corporate ladders. However, we dont plan to be doing this very long, as we both have it as our goal to become "Early Retired". With both of us debt free, we are starting our wealth accumulation/building phase of our life, and we know we need three things from previous research weve been doing, that is paper assets (jobs,401k,Roth IRA, Tax Accounts...), Business (have a few ideas of some businesses), and what brings us to this awesome place, REAL ESTATE.

We are totally new at real estate investing, and are looking forward to all the great info and opportunities at BP we know were gonna get. My goal from this site is to get the education and connections/networking/friendships to help with our goal to be early retired, build/preserve our wealth, and a great happy life for my families future. Currently were down here in Houston but are planning in the near future to move back up to old home in the Northwest Seattle or Portland Area. So if your from any of these areas would love any info/ connections from those markets as well as the Greater Houston area markets.

So anyways if your from the Greater Houston Area (Spring/The Woodlands,TX) would love to connect with ya

Thanks again to those that will read and respond to this post ahead of time
