Quote from @Jonathan Greene:

Finding and Funding Good Deals by @Anson Young is a good start. If you are new, new, Set For Life by Scott Trench is also good as an overview. These are more about real estate without being too specific on the type.

 That is some high praise from Mr. Greene!!  Thank you sir!!

Timothy, this is certainly a pretty huge question.

My first reaction would be: it depends on marketing method.  If you have ONE method, of course these numbers are easy.  If you have several, it changes based on each method, of course.

I'll go through one of mine, the big hairy elephant in the room: direct mail

1. $4400
2. 10
3. 5.7

Of course, once you know your KPIs, you can always work on streamlining each one to effect the others.  There are easily another 10 KPIs you could track based on these, and a few other ways to spin the non-closed appointments into other revenue methods (like listings, etc).  Follow up spins off its own KPIs as well.

It cost you $250,800 per deal???
$4400 x 10 x 5.7

 Yes, But I make a million off each deal...  j/k

The metrics were:

1. Cost per lead (I actually posted my cost per deal...  oops I see the problem now lol)

2. Leads -> appointment

3. Appointment -> Close

list source ranges from 3-20 cents per record, and skiptracing is 20-50 cents per record.  Not sure on population for the county, but that will let you calculate approx cost if you know the number of the list!

Hey! Late to the party here but I’ve been looking into starting cold calling with a Listsource list and have run into this term skip tracing? Probably a dumb question but I’ve tried to look up it’s meaning but just end up more confused. Is it simply a disguise for your number so you can call confidently from out of the area?

Bryce!

I understand the confusion for sure!  Skiptracing is where you look up a person or property to get more information about them.  I can have your name and address, and when I skiptrace you I can get your phone numbers, email addresses, updated address, etc.

Its just a way to get the best information on a potential seller.

Let me know if that answered your question!
