@Lesleigh S.Depends on your current loan situation, but one of the more common ways to do this is to transfer the property into your personal name if you plan to refinance.  Let me know if you have any more questions, happy to help!

@Ryan Copeland tons of info to digest here, I think one way people are looking at it is using FHA low down payment loan options with rates at an all-time low buying the MF property and then living in one of the units and renting out the other(s) and covering their mortgage, basically living payment free. The Client Advisor Role - NOT your typical real estate agent

What You'll Do

Awning Advisors will specialize in specific markets (e.g. Houston, DFW, Austin) with responsibilities including

  • Relationship Building: Meet with prospective clients and maintain ongoing relationships with repeat clients.
  • Buyer Education: Walk clients through the basics of real estate investing. Provide expertise through local market knowledge so that clients are confident and ready to transact.Deal Identification & Recommendation: Advisor is expected to use Awning's proprietary sourcing algorithms to find "deals" and make data adjustments by utilizing their own qualitative understanding of the market backed by data.Negotiation & Transactions: Expect to make dozens of offers and transact 2-3 properties at a minimum a month.
