I have a house under contract, the bank was giving me trouble so the seller and I agreed to seller finance. We have agreed to a price, interest rate, downpayment, and balloon payment terms, and would be to 30 years.

Now that all the terms are agreed to, what are the next steps? who can prepare the paperwork for us? do I go to a title company? the seller and I have our own agents because we originally tried the conventional way, and we still want our agents to get paid.

any guidance on the next steps and how the process works is greatly appreciated.

Hello. If I buy a primary home under my name and then I move it to an LLC, will the mortgage name move also to the LLC or just the name that the house is under? Meaning, will another bank be able to see the mortgage for the house I just bought?

Post: Short term rental in a tiny house

I just started my research on tiny houses. I have many questions but to be specific. I want to understand how the whole tiny house business works.

Are there communities where I can buy an already built tiny house and turn it into a short-term rental?

Are tiny houses connected to utilities?

Do I need a real estate agent to find one? if so, what kind?

How do I finance one?

Any suggestions on how to find a few and analyze them?

Thank you for all the help

I have multiple single-family homes, I want to go to the next level and after either selling or cashout/refi part of my portfolio I want to find an apartment complex. How different is it to buy commercial property like a 10 unit or above from a single-family home?  what is the process? metrics, or anything I need to keep in mind.

Thank you for any help

Quick question, what is the difference between an appraisal and a valuation?

My lender ordered a valuation vs the appraisal, I wanted to understand any advantage and disadvantage.

Thank you

Hello

I currently have 5 properties in Texas under my name. I am looking to start a side business unrelated to real estate. This will require investors and is high risk.

What options do I have to protect my 5 properties and isolate them from any risk that my new venture would bring?

I thought about moving them to an LLC, but one lender said they could call back the loan and my other two said my interest rate would be higher and it would eat a lot of my cashflow.

Has anyone worked with an asset protection lawyer? Maybe insurance?

Thanks for any feedback

@Michael Plante

No I have not, but she is the one who found the deal and the one that manages my properties.
