Satanic Rituals In This House!

This house has all the 'feel' of a "satanic cult". 

The people that lived there must have had severe mental and behavioral problems. Before I owned it, I visited the house and the "Elder" condoned and encouraged the 7 other family members deviant behavior. 

You can see by the pictures that this home was severely abused and turning around a house like this may or may not be worth it.

What do YOU think? Should it be gutted and rehabbed or sold?

This just looks like the result of run-of-the-mill substance abuse and mental illness issues.

I had a call this morning from a Homicide detective as suspected murder was holed up in one of our houses.. I beg them not to beat the **** out of the house.. they could do whatever they want to the suspect preferably send in a Canine unit

I had a call this morning from a Homicide detective as suspected murder was holed up in one of our houses.. I beg them not to beat the **** out of the house.. they could do whatever they want to the suspect preferably send in a Canine unit

 Yeah, go into a house that's had someone decomposing in it for a few weeks and you find out what real putrid smells are! I once bought a house that was so terrible of cat piss that you virtually couldn't go in without a respirator and I thought I'd have to tear out the subfloors to fix. When my hardwood guys started sanding the smell was unbelievable, but we actually were able to seal the floors and get rid of the smell.

Fix it. The unit was crappy to begin with and this didn't happen over a short period of time. Consider periodic inspections.

I don't see any evidence of satanic rituals. This looks like my Uncle Bob's house. He was just an unemployed alcoholic living off the government teat, ruining one rental after another.

 As a note investor, that is a good looking post foreclosure home.

attempting to respond earnestly to your post - Satanic ritual abuse is a real and serious issue that often goes completely under the radar for many reasons. In terms of property value, I dont think it would have much of an impact as SRA really isnt classified as a crime specifically because of secular laws and such and the crime would be sa, murder, extortion etc..  SRA might be an enhancement since the perpetrator committed a crime in the name of their deity? . I dont think it would affect the sale too much, as satanic rituals arent something that has to be disclosed but who knows that could change in the next four years hahaha. imagine.  Im not a lawyer, Id flip that house though. maybe get the priest to come throw some holy water on it. 

I do however sympathize with you having to deal with some real wackjobs.

Ah, the beauty of real estate: no matter the horrors a house has seen - satanic rituals, questionable paint choices, 1970's wallpaper - everything cleans up.

Bloodstains? That’s just a job for peroxide and a good story for the open house. Scorch marks from unholy fires? "Industrial chic." Strange symbols carved into the floor? "Custom woodwork with an artisanal flair." Worst case, slap on some primer, throw down a rug, and voilà: a "blank canvas for the next homeowner."

Remember: someone bought the house from The Amityville Horror.
