Buildium Portal Owner Statements
I was wondering if the PM company can change the settings in the Buildium portal so it sends out monthly owner statements automatically to the owners instead of the owner going in the portal and downloading it manually every month.
I spoke to Buildium customer service, they said, there is not a feature like that which I find amusing. Any inputs from Buildium users?

Buildium won't send it automatically. The PM company has to generate these owner statements and emails them.

Management software does this for a reason. If the system automatically processed reports, they may get sent out before the manager has an opportunity to review for mistakes or make changes.
What problem, specifically, are you trying to solve? Are you a property manager who wants to save a little time? Are you an owner that's not receiving reports in a timely manner?

Owner, I have to manually download the reports from the portal, if they were automatically e-mailed, it would be easier.

you should be able to request from the PM to have it email it to you.

We use Appfolio and we still have to manually send out the reports to owners each month. Kind of annoying tbh.

I agree, i just hired a property manager for 2 rentals i own and they use buildium. I'm finding it very confusing and having a hard time deciphering the difference between all the reports, I don't like that bookings don't automatically sync up and they have to manually input the info. If anyone knows of any tutorials on the info I actually need on the platform that'd be much appreciated. For instance I see "net income" and I don't know if that what the tenant paid or that's what I'm receiving after the property management fee.

Net income is revenue minus expenses. This means all the tenants rent and other income less all the repairs and mgmt fees..
You shouldn't need to look at that many reports. Owner Statement, 12-month cash flow report, delinquency report, and rent roll.

@Zachary Engen why are you worried about bookings?
At best, you should expect consistent marketing updates while a vacant property is being marketed for rent. Otherwise, you're micro-managing.
