South Austin, Buda & Kyle Investors - Meeting_Mentor
I live in Buda and recently closed on a new home in Garlic Creek while renting my other in Downtown Buda. I'm looking to meet with people in the Buda area who want to discuss real estate or even better would be an experienced mentor. I'm 28 and only have 2 properties but am eager to learn and meet new people. It seems all the meetups are in North Austin so any help for this general area would be appreciated.

I will be at Summer Moon Coffee Shop on Main Street in Buda on Thursday from 12-1:30 if anyone would like to come within that window and meet up for a bit and talk more about establishing a set time and location going forward or creating a meetup. Feel free to PM me if you can make it. Thanks!
Just to be clear the date is Thursday, April 20th.
Based on this thread it seems there is quite a bit of interest in this area and getting a group together. I would like to propose a meeting on the first and third Thursday of each month at Nates in Buda (possible varying location after some initial meetings) at 6:30-8. I'm hoping that as the group grows we might be able to change the times to accommodate more people's schedule. I had the chance to meet with @Doug Watts last week and catch up on what we have both been working on along with discussing growth in the Buda area. We both think that starting a group who meets regularly to discuss South Austin, Buda, Kyle and San Marcos would be beneficial to everyone involved and lead to great connections in the area. I look forward to hearing back from everyone. Feel free to PM me or Doug to get a good contact number for coordinating.

Hey everyone just a heads up that we will be meeting tomorrow at 6:30 on Thursday, 5/18 at Nates in Buda. I know some people have let me know they can't make it this time around but are definitely going to work and make it the next time.
Meetings are currently set up for the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the Month, figure a consistent schedule will help build this group up. Feel free to PM me for my number to get on the group text.

Just a heads up we are meeting this Thursday, 630 at Brooklyns in downtown Buda to talk about Buda, Kyle, San Marcos and maybe even some ideas about development progress/timelines between Buda and Dripping Springs.

Glad to see some people getting excited about this group! Last week we had @Mary T. and @Joe Howes come out for their first meeting. I will send around a group text to everyone a couple of days before the next meetup (6/15, Nates in Buda).
