New to RE investing in Florida
Hello, Have you been to any of the local REIA meetings that are around? There are a lot of investors that go to these and you can hopefully find what you are looking for. If you just a lot of questions keep reattaching and reaching out to BP members they are a wealth of information free of charge. I am in Clearwater if you need any help.
Kay Wilson Like the BP'er above me commented, local REIA's are an excellent place to find investors who are doing the type of investing you want to do. You can offer to help them for free with anything they may need for their business (e.i. Marketing, organizing, painting their flip, etc) in exchange for their mentorship. Welcome to the club and good luck to you!
I have been to one in Tampa but was looking for something in the Clearwater area for the meetings
Hi Kay and welcome to the BP community! TBREIA has a meeting in Pinellas Park at the quaker steak restaurant the 1st Tuesday of every month. I would also hop onto their website and check it out.
Welcome to Bigger Pockets. Make sure to read the Beginner’s Guide: http://www.biggerpockets.com/real-estate-investing
Kay there is a meeting that meets every other Wed at Joes crab shack. The TBRIEA is a good meeting but does cost for non members. Most the meetings are in St. Pete and Tampa though. Also if you are wanting to try something a little different there is a Thurs morn meeting at Dennys in st pete that is very different format but much more relax and fun way to invest and get to know other investors. Reach out to me if you have any questions and I can help you out.
