A renter left his phone, charger and some money

Had 5 guys rent a house for a week. Went there yesterday morning after they left. Took out the trash and plugged in the security camera.  Went there in the afternoon and took the 18 beers that were left. Went there this morning to start doing laundry, the security camera was working. I got an alert that there was motion inside from when I entered. This was on a nightstand. What to do?

    I bet they come back for this stuff.

    You may have to have a licensed FFL ship the gun to them or may be able to take it apart and ship it as gun parts?

    The serialized frame is a firearm even disassembled, so you'd still have to jump through all the hoops of shipping a firearm.

    @Paul Sandhu

    The nightstand raises more questions. Is that from a patio set? If it is, talk about hardening a rental. You are my hero.

     Yes, it's from an outdoor patio set.  Other nightstands can be an old style television or a wooden chair from a dining table.  My renters have no problem with it.  They actually set it up that way, and I leave it that way for the next renters.

    You will hear from the person who left these. He can have someone call the phone with Facetime and give you password to verify all if it belongs to this person. I would not USPS anything in the photograph. Have him pick it up, and why are you renting weekly to five guys, and I don't mean the burger joint

    I'd call the police and let them deal with the gun.

    I agree with @Theresa Harris on the pistol. They police can handle getting it back to the owner and you are off the hook. There could be a lot of liability if that is mishandled.

    I know that many of your clients are of a certain type and that pistol might have been used in a less than honorable way.

    Because they pay me $1000 a week to stay in a $21,000 house.  3 other guys from the same company pay me $600 a week to stay in a $9500 house.  Another 5 guys with the same company also pay $1000 a week to stay in my nicest house.

    So I finish all the linens and I'm making the beds.  I hear someone walk in the door and say "Hello".  I walk out and see the guy that was supposed to have left.  Asked him what he's doing here.  He said he got a DUI Saturday night and just got out of jail, his vehicle was impounded too.  He was going to retrieve his vehicle.  We both left.

    I felt bad for taking all his beer.  I felt even worse for locking my keys in the house.  So I went home and got a spare set to let myself in to retrieve my keys.  I also returned his beer I took.

     Cable tv in every bedroom.  Smart TV in the living room.  2 washers, 2 dryers, 2 refridgerators, fully stocked kitchen, gas grill, charcoal grill, fire pit with wood, bedrooms decorated like Hugh Hefner's mansion.  Refinery contractors are the only people I rent to.  Big burly guys with neck tats that drive jacked up 4x4s.  Welders, pipefitters, boilermakers.

    Ahhh, 2 washing machines.  One for the blood stains and one for the money.
