DSCR Loans in Houston, TX

Angelo Looney
Posted

Does anyone have experience with these type of loans? Are they good for first time investors? I am using a FHA loan on my primary residence and don't want to refinance because we have a great interests rate.

    Hi Angelo -

Yes, DSCR loans are advantageous for first-time investors. They focus more on the property's income potential rather than personal finances meaning no DTIs, less paperwork, and more underwriting flexibility. You also have the ability to go through an LLC if that is the route you want to take and do not have a cap on size/concentration limits. Happy to chat with you further about this.

Hey Angelo, I would suggest reaching out to some investor friendly lenders to see what loan options you have available for your current situation. I just spoke with a few lenders since some clients of mine are trying to buy an investment property. Turns out a DSCR loan may not be the best route for their situation. If you need some investor friendly lenders, I am more than willing to share. Best of luck!

Hi Angelo, DSCR programs are great loans. You should seek a Lender who can provide a formal Certificate of Approval Letter upfront and help Prequalify DSCR properties in advance to simplify the process.

    Hi Angelo,

A DSCR loan is a great way to get into your first investment property. This loan product is tailored for experienced investors as well as first-time investors. The great thing about this loan is you don't have to show proof of income to qualify.

Hope this helps! Happy to chat more if you have any more questions!
