How can I find a Real estate investor mentor?
@Nicolas Carrasco, I suggest you go to your local Real Estate Investor's Group, meetups (sign up with meetup.com), landlord gatherings, etc. You should be able to find the locations and the time frames on here and searching google. Good luck!
@Nicolas Carrasco You may want to check out your local real estate investment club. Find someone who is doing what you want to do. Be sure you find someone whose personality works with yours. Offer to help them out any way you can (even if for free) in exchange for learning from them. Networking is more of an art than an exact science. It may take a few times for you to visit and/or meet before you find someone you can work with. Good luck!
Yes, definitely check out your local real estate club, just search Real Estate investing club + your city.
Also, attend meet ups on meetup.com where your local investors meet, network with them, you'll find good quality people.
Definitely go to local meetups in your area and network, I'm sure you will be able to find a mentor. That's how I got started in the game now we are doing deals together. For me the experience was so much better than a book or a seminar, he was able to help me through each step with my first deal. I could not have done it without him! Good Luck,
