If you are providing champagne or wine, would we need a license for that to do so? 

Does anyone know of a group or angel investors who would invest up to 5M to fund a luxury 6 room micro resort in central coast wine country in California? 

@Alexandra Helms Just seem odd to me that US side isn't much of tourist area in winter than the other side.

Open to ocean view, close to tourist areas by transit, farm ground or ranch land.  

Not a tourist destination, but very popular and is experiencing rapid growth.

Building a cabin in a tourist destination that does not have easy access to gas or electric.So I will need to run electric line anyway and considering installing underground propane tank, is it worth it?

The area has certain advantages like shelter from regulation risk (pretty much as low as anywhere in the country if you buy in the approved STR tourist zones) and long term security (people aren't going to stop going to Orlando anytime soon). 

A good mix of LTR'S is a very good idea so that all your eggs aren't in the STR basket.I like tourist destinations where STR'S are heavily ingrained and almost impossible to ban or regulate out of existence.

I’m particularly drawn to the mix of year-round tourist demand, the beautiful beaches, and the proximity to major attractions.That said, I’d love to hear your thoughts on how the market is performing these days.

This area is not only become a very hot tourist spot but a place to retire and hide.
