This is an interesting question :)  I would venture to guess that the naming is a not a complicated thing to change -- it probably isn't recorded in the plat or legal description for the property, so it is more like an "emblem" attached to the building.

The sign in the yard with your name (maybe that small emblem as a logo) relates your name to these elements and to the quality of your work.Put the sign up as soon as possible and get started, it indicates how long you'll take on the job.

I also mail custom letters on high end stationary sealed with hot wax and my emblem every time a listing expires in my community offering a free certified appraisal which I do myself and present to them at the listing appointment.

Emblems on houses go back to the beginning of building them, crests, columns, arches, doors and windows would have unique markings.Use a theme that reflects your work that blends with any style home, it needs to be consistent.Now, if you're a quick fix rehab type, just doing average work, you might not want to have your reputation out there for the world to identify your properties!
