I think people hire agents based upon their brand, the capabilities of their business system, ability to market & promote, etc.  

Heck I would sell more mail if I promoted them so maybe I should take the position of self promotion and make more money...

I mean on one end telling people your in  getting into Real Estate is good when your promoting your business.

Best advice I can offer you is to find some product or service that you have responded to in another industry and reverse engineer their campaign, promotion and the offer.

However I think that anytime I can promote my business and create smiles at the same time I have done my job.As for my point..
